Contest Specifications

The guys behind MG Collective are giving you a chance to win ticket's to Heartland's Acting for Animators with Ed Hooks workshop on Saturday November 5th, 2011 !!!

Ed Hooks, a theatre professional for three decades, pioneered acting training specifically for animators instead of stage actors. He authored, Acting for Animators and Acting in Animation: A Look at 12 Films, which are standard texts at animation schools all over the world.

MG Collective is offering up its support to get students out of the classroom and into some competition!  The reward?  Tickets to 1st and 2nd place submitters to the contest! 

But Wait!!!  With such an opportunity for local animators, IndianaUploaded has decided to match MG Collective’s donation!  The top 4 places of student submitters will win tickets to the Ed Hook’s Event!!!

Contest Details:

Theme:  Heart, Triumph, Reaching Ones Goals

The contest is for Character Animation, in any medium.  Tell us a story, give us a snippet, do an 11 second club, show us your process!  Depict a character or set of characters at the moment of a great success, realization of a dream, a heartfelt moment that aligns with Heartland’s mission for supporting ‘truly moving Pictures’.

(Don’t forget those Vimeo and Youtube uploads take a bit of time)
