Contest Specifications

Brief:

Mavin Global Company is an IT products and services company started by executives from Management Consulting, Education, and Product Development in 2010.  Mavin Global has offices in Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Salt Lake City and Chennai.

Requirements:

Education: Graphics Design Interns should have Completed or be a Candidate to complete BS in a digital design related field by Spring of 2012.

Hours per week: 20 hrs

Internship Duration: May 1- August 3

Pay: $7.25 per hour

Location: Carmel, Indiana

Equipment: Intern will be provided a laptop as part of internship

Internship-

Mavin Global is seeking a Graphic Design intern who has an educational focus on Web and Print Design. Candidate should have working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, 3D Modeling Software, HTML, and CSS.

During the internship candidate will be expected to collaborate and work with the Mavin Global Marketing team to help develop software wire frames using Balsamiq, creating custom logos and icons using Adobe Photoshop, brochures, presentations, and marketing material using Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft PowerPoint, and HTML/CSS front end development using Microsoft Expression Blend. 

Internship will provide candidates with strong experience working with a high level technical team.  

Full Time/Part Time Employment potential will be discussed upon completion of internship. 

Contest Details: 

MavinGlobal is looking for someone with many skills in design, layout, and marketing.  To win this contest you will have to use all of the above. With the linked to wireframe(s) as reference you are to design a user interface that shows off your skills.

Use these wireframes as reference; you may improve upon the layout if you choose. 

Candidates have two designs available. Submitters can either utilize one of the two layout designs or slightly modify one of the layouts to make it stronger. The wireframe is a landing page for a software application. 

Mavin Global is looking to see candidates demonstrate graphic skills, photography, and icon ability incorporated into the layout. Designers should try to use 3-D effects in layout, come up with their own logo, shading effects and schemes, background photography etc. 

Prize :  Mavin Global  will chose the best design and designer for consideration to the summer internship!  In addition, the submitter with the most IndianaUploaded votes will receive $100.00 from MavinGlobal.
